Round Three of the Building Better Regions Fund (BBRF) is now open.
It’s a $641.6 million fund set up by the Australian Government to create jobs, drive economic growth and build stronger regional communities. This round, $200 million is available, with up to $45 million of this funding earmarked to support tourism related infrastructure projects.
You must be an incorporated not-for-profit, local government agency, or non-distributing co-operative to apply.
There are two streams of funding available under the program:
- Infrastructure Projects Stream ($20,000 to $10 million to support projects which involve construction of new infrastructure, or the upgrade or extension of existing infrastructure)
- Community Investments Stream ($5,000 to $10 million to new or expanded local events, strategic regional plans, or leadership and capability strengthening activities)
