Those who run businesses or work in the private sector might be forgiven for feeling a little jealous of public servants after Queensland industrial relations minister Grace Grace signed off two weeks "pandemic leave" for bureaurcrats, over and above their already generous conditions.
The extra time off, which we can only assume comes at the behest of public sector unions, awards government workers an additional two weeks worth of entitlement in a situation where a flu pandemic is declared.
